The kids had a great time riding the train and carousel, and those were definitely the highlights of our zoo visit. The lines moved a little slower than I would’ve liked, but to be fair, it was busy and the staff seemed to be doing their best. Overall, it was still a really fun day and worth going.

It was way too hot, and there was basically nowhere to sit or get out of the sun. Such a simple thing to have a few shaded spots or benches, but somehow it felt harder than it needed to be.

I was hoping to see a lot more animals, but we could barely spot many of them. At first I thought maybe it was just bad timing, or actually, maybe the enclosures were just too spread out or hidden, because it felt like we spent more time looking around than actually seeing anything

I went in expecting it to be better, but a lot of the exhibits just looked old and kinda empty. A few of the viewing spots were dirty or blocked off too, so it was hard to even see the animals sometimes. For the price of the ticket, it just didn’t feel worth it to me.

i mean, I had an issue with my tickets and tried to get a refund, but it was such a hassle. It took forever to get a response, and even then, no one really seemed to fix anything. I just felt like I kept getting passed around without any real help. Disappointing overall

the food was better than I thought it’d be. The fries were hot, drinks were nice and cold, so no complaints there. Prices were kinda high, but I mean it’s a zoo, so not tooo surprising.

Some areas also seemed a bit run down. I’m not saying it was a terrible visit, but I probably wouldn’t rush back anytime soon.

This worked out really well for us. Traveling with the kids can get expensive fast, so I was mostly just hoping it would be decent. But yeah... it was a solid value. Enough for everyone, no big surprises, and it made the whole thing feel a little easier. For families, I’d say it’s definitely worth considering.

I took my kids to Hogle Zoo last weekend, and overall we had a really nice time once we were inside. I was just expecting the entry process to feel a little smoother, especially since we bought our tickets online ahead of time.

We still ended up waiting around 25 minutes, which isn’t the worst thing ever, but with kids it definitely feels longer. The staff were friendly and seemed to be doing their best, though I kept wondering if we were in the right line or if there was a faster option we had somehow missed.

Once we got through the gate, everything was fine and the visit itself was enjoyable. I’d go back, but it would be reassuring to see more scanners open or clearer signs so you know you’re not just standing there longer than you need to.

I had a frustrating visit because the restrooms were hard to find, and when we did find one, the lines were way too long. With kids, you kind of know right away when something like that is going to be a problem, and it definitely was. For such a big zoo, I expected it to be easier

I went to one of their special events expecting it to feel a bit more organized or at least more enjoyable than a regular visit, but it was frustrating. It was packed, there were lines for almost everything, and the staff didn’t really seem like they had a clear plan for handling the crowd. After dealing with all of that, I just couldn’t see where the extra money went. Based on the experience, I wouldn’t pay extra for one of these events again.

I tried getting tickets through hoglezoo.org, it was more of a pain than I expected. The pages were loading slow, the checkout setup felt kind of clunky, and I kept having to backtrack because some stuff just wasn’t explained very well.

By the time I finally got to the payment part, I was already annoyed. Maybe other people have an easier time with it, I don’t know, but for me it was just a rough process. Next time I’ll probably just buy tickets at the gate and skip the whole online mess.

I tried using it with my screen reader, but the menus were confusing and some buttons didn’t have labels. I was already in a rush, so maybe it was just bad timing, but I got frustrated quickly and gave up.

We went to Hogle Zoo the parking situation was rough. It felt like everyone was just circling forever trying to find a spot, and it took us way longer than expected. By the time we finally got inside, we were already irritated, which wasn’t the best way to start the visit. I’m curious if this is a common issue there or if we just went on a bad day.

I stopped by the gift shop hoping to find something fun to take home, but there really wasn’t much to choose from. It was mostly the same few toys repeated around the store, and nothing really stood out. On top of that, I felt a little talked down to when I asked about other options, which made the whole visit feel awkward. I ended up leaving without buying anything

I barely learned anything from this. The signs they pointed out felt weak, and after a while I started wondering if they were just stretching things to make it sound more useful than it actually was.

It was so crowded that I could barely move around, and there were lines for pretty much everything. I mean, common sense says a busy day is going to be hectic, but this was beyond that. Definitely not worth it if you’re looking for a relaxed visit

We had a okay visit to Hogle Zoo. The kids had fun seeing the animals, and there were definitely a few areas we enjoyed walking through. But for the price of tickets, I expected a little more. Overall, not a bad family outing, just wish it felt like a better value

We had a good time at Hogle Zoo overall, but I did leave with mixed feelings. The animals and exhibits were enjoyable, and it was a nice way to spend the day. We used the map, which helped a little, but we still ended up backtracking a couple times. It didn’t ruin the visit, but clearer signage would definitely make the experience smoother
